Position Description/Company Info:

Legrand North America has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sr. Developer in our West Hartford, CT location. You will be working on our enterprise projects of Master Data Management, Data Warehouse, SharePoint, and other B2B and B2C projects.


You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of BizTalk solutions that integrate internal systems, SAAS, and some of our customers systems. You will work with other teams to implement technology solutions that meet the business requirements using BizTalk Server 2010, SQL Server 2012, and of course Visual Studio.

    • BS in computer science or related engineering.
    • Microsoft MCP, MCPD or MCTS desired



10+ years’ experience using Visual Studio, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, BizTalk, SQL Server, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ODBC, OLEDB, WCF, Oracle, AS400


Must Have:  

  • Experience in system and application integration projects using technologies like BizTalk, WCF, Web Service, and SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Experience in design and development of enterprise applications consisting of
    • Data-driven web applications for internal and external websites
    • Rich client applications
    • Software As A Service platforms like SFDC and Windows Azure.
  • Strong experience with using relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
    • Skills and experience using SQL Server Reporting Services and OLAP desirable.



  • Must have a demonstrated history of working together with small development teams within a corporate hierarchy.  Must be able to work with business users and IT staff in documenting requirements, architecting, and constructing solutions that meet the business needs. 
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control a number of projects at various stages of work. 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information. 
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and Electronic Data Interchange beneficial but not required.
