Position Description/Company Info

Industrial Electrician needed for Legrand/Wiremold, a premier manufacturer in West Hartford, CT, for our 1st shift operation (6:00 pm - 2:30 pm).  This position is an hourly position and carries with it a rate of $25.01/hour. 

 

Responsiblities Include:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair manual and automated production equipment
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance as required
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC's preferred but will train
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install all building systems equipment

Qualifications

Electrician with minimum 2+ years of either Industrial/Military Electrical troubleshooting experience. Consideration may be given to recent  4yr electrician apprentice graduate seeking an industrial electrician career opportunity.  

 

  • Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot AC and DC motors and drives
  • Experience in manufacturing as a hands-on Electrician preferred
  • PLC trouble shooting experience preferred
  • Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics
  • Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment
  • Verbal/written communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work with engineering staff as required
  • Willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques related to relay logic, PLC's and microprocessor based controls
  • Willingness to learn panel building techniques and skills
  • Connecticut E-2 License Preferred
