Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Technical Sales Representative at our Albia, IA location. A Technical Sales Representative will provide an extraordinary customer experience for all Legrand customers via e-mail, chat and phone.  A Technical Sales Representative will handle customer support functions that result from interactions or forwarded from other departments.   This individual will initiate customer research requests, work with all system resources, sales teams, and technical support to ensure first call resolution to customer requests.

Education: Associates Degree in business or equivalent.


Experience 1-2 years of experience in marketing, customer support or sales. Experience in a technology oriented field a plus.

Position Attributes

  1. Provide an extraordinary experience to all internal and external customers.
  2. Field in-bound customer support calls
  3. Maintain team email box and help support managed territories when account manager or account executive is out of office.
  4. Help the team hit monthly revenue goals provided by management.
  5. Communicate to Quiktron/Legrand customers how our solutions differentiate from competitors.
  6. Support the internal sales and territory team with order entry, RMA’s, customer set-ups, quotes, cross-references of competitor’s products, sending out tracking, etc. 
  7. Probe for information about account and logging information in CRM to help Account Reps to quickly understand potential of account. Log all correspondence for proper tracking of gain/loss ratio
  8. Share information with team leads, team and other departments, following company policies and values, balancing short- and long-term goals, and resolving customer issues when necessary.
  9. Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities.
  10. Provide pricing and availability to customers when needed.
  11. Support Outside Sales Rep with Project management
  12. Maintain minimum call scores and activity levels required of the position.
