Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Manager International Sales to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Team in Salt Lake City, UT. The individual in this role reports to the VP & General Manager, Home Systems, plan and implement sales strategy for International markets and evaluate/develop new international markets for Nuvo/On-Q product lines of EWS. They will provide customer interface between international customers and internal EWS support operations. The International Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales revenue of Nuvo & On-Q world wide through external LV distributors and Legrand Group subsidiaries. This position requires extensive travel (up to 50% travel)

  • Bachelors degree in international business or engineering management.


  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in B2B international A/V sales or related


  • Extensive knowledge of audio/video concepts and technology are required
  • Demonstrated successful track record of successfully developing international distributor relationships in the A/V low voltage industry, developing new international markets and growing existing business
  • Fluency in Spanish, Italian and/or French a plus. 
  • Must have strong experience in marketing, including new market development, marketing strategy and marketing communications.
  • Strong computer skills are required, including managing spreadsheets, developing electronic presentations and conducting market research.
  • Must be able to deliver sales and marketing presentations to large groups
  • Must be self-motivated and have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, ability to understand organizational structure and dynamics.
  • Must be a strong negotiator.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to juggle multiple priorities. 
  • Effective in resolving problems and coming up with creative solutions to complex issues.



Position Attributes

Main Job Duties:

  • Assist in planning and implementing sales strategy for existing International markets (EMEA, ROW and Canada), including sales targets for specific markets, profitability, product mix, new product introductions, and marketing resources required. 
  • Evaluate new international market opportunities for Nuvo/On-Q product lines.  Identify product mix for that specific market; evaluate resources to assist in sales and distribution of Nuvo and On-Q products in that market.  Develop and deliver training to external International LV Distributors.
  • Assist in development of Low Voltage intercompany business between EWS and Legrand subsidiaries world wide.  Identify product mix for that specific market; evaluate resources to assist in sales and distribution of Nuvo/On-Q products in that market.  Develop and deliver training to subsidiary sales force and support organizations.
  • Provide customer interface between international customers and internal EWS operations. Assist customers in obtaining technical information, resolving pricing issues, issues arising from territory overlap, delivery and logistic problems, quotations and related.
  • Travel extensively to build and deepen relationships with external distribution partners, agencies and Legrand Group subsidiaries.
  • Contribute to annual budget process, including sales projections and resources required to obtain sales objectives.
  • Regularly report to management on growth opportunities, market trends, competitive developments and general market conditions.
  • Log activities and manage opportunity pipeline using company CRM system.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
