Legrand has a potential opportunity for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the team in West Hartford, CTThe successful candidate will need to keep up with the current evolution of online technology, have strong analytical skills, and have a drive for improvement to the business. The candidate will be able to function in a matrixed organization working with multiple managers and across organizational silos. This person will also be mobile - willing to relocate for advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communications required.

Experience:

  • 0-3 years in marketing function or related.

Required Skills:

  • Must be mobile – willing to relocate for career growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Must have strong time and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter, with the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be highly organized, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work effectively across functional groups.
  • Must have strong analytical skills to effectively assess and communicate metrics and impact of digital initiatives.
  • Has a passion for digital media and devices, considers him/herself an 'early adopter' of digital trends.

Pluses include:

  • Working knowledge of Web site Analytics and Web site Conversion Metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL).
  • Hands-on experience with key digital media disciplines/tools, such as: brand website development, social media marketing/community management, display banner advertising, SEM, SEO, user-generated content, and email marketing.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, web programming, Content Management Systems (CMS), Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Salesforce.com and/or Pardot is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Position Attributes

Main Activities:

  • Support lead generation efforts that support Legrand product lines and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and creative agencies to develop and execute digital product launches and marketing campaigns in accordance with brand standards.
  • Optimize campaigns to deliver relevant marketing content to customers and influencers at the right time during the buying cycle.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute initiatives to drive traffic to the web (email marketing, outbound calling campaigns, display banner
    advertising, search engine marketing).
  • Implement and optimize marketing campaigns in the marketing automation system.
  • Aid in development of customer personas and journey maps.
  • Facilitate lead qualification process by transitioning incoming leads to inside sales team for follow up.
  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the various Legrand web properties and channels, ensuring a best-in-class experience for site users.
  • Develop, write and edit a variety of online marketing messages and communication pieces.
  • Contribute to and monitor branded online communities on the company's behalf using Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube and other social media.
  • Manage reporting tools and oversee data analysis and conclusion/insight development.
  • Communicate technical messages to a non-technical audience.
  • Travel less than 10%.
