Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Team in Concord, NC. The individual in this role will be reporting directly to the Manager of Purchase for Resale (PFR), this position supports the PFR department’s initiatives including but not limited to cost reduction, improved customer service, improved inventory turns, S&OP process.

Qualifications

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Economics or Mathematics
  • 5 years of supply chain analysis experience.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • APICS certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work within a team based environment.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior as a supply chain professional.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes ( e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management).
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and ERP systems ( e.g. SAP, ASI, BPICS, dataworks).
  • Posess an analytical mind with business acumen.
  • Problem solving aptitude.  Attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, planning, organizing, and coordinating capabilities are a must along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Position Attributes

Main Job Duties:

  • Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
  • Analyze changes to forecast and available capacity to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
  • Utilize lean concepts to implement supply chain improvement projects that will improve customer service and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with internal IT professionals to create and implement effective material planning systems.
  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance.
  • Collect/Compile data for and participate in S&OP Supply meetings.
  • Document and maintain standard work for PFR supply chain processes.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
