    Legrand has an exciting new opportunity for entry level professionals to participate in our Sales & Marketing Development Program.  Learn and develop as a Sales & Marketing Professional by rotating through Sales and Marketing positions within a 2-year period. This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing relevant competitive information used to maintain and develop competitive profiles for key competitors as input to corporate decision making. 


    Employee must complete at least two 6-month rotations in marketing and an additional 12 months in field sales. The marketing roles may include Marketing Communications, Product Marketing or Digital Marketing. Upon completion of 2-year assignment, employee will be assigned as openings occur in Sales or Marketing at any Legrand location. Employee must be mobile to move to any location within the US.

    Education:  BS in Industrial Distribution, or Marketing or other business related degree.  MBA is a plus.
    Experience:  Proven work ethic & commitment to being mobile to other assignments in the US as needed.

    Position Attributes

    • Develop skills as a Sales & Marketing Professional.
    • Learn position in the Marketing or Sales for at least 12 months in each role.  The goal would be to relocate this individual to other markets as assigned.
    • Learn to meet goals by clearly communicating our vision and direction – Internally, within Teams and to the Customer.
    • Learn how to presents the LNA Branding message.
    • Sales
      • Assist with regular in person meetings with Key contacts at Account to measure progress and make improvements to strategy, implementation and execution where necessary.
      • To learn how to work with LNA Teams and collaborate with other LNA Territory Representation when identifying additional LNA opportunities.
      • Assist w providing a solution based services for installer community which would include LNA Productivity and Upsell Strategies on a daily bases for every project opportunity. 
    • Marketing
      • Role may include Marketing communications, Product Marketing or Digital marketing
      • Develop a clear understanding of market conditions, territory opportunities and competition.
      • Become very knowledgeable of Customer Service, Pricing and Technical Support functions for the business.
      • Learn how to develop a marketing plan.
      • Understand new product life cycle.
