Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Engineer Level II - Lean Operations to join the Finelite Team in Union City, CA. Finelite is seeking an Industrial Engineer (IE) with 3-5 years experience in the Lean Operations department who will execute IE planning, designing, and enforcing operations processes. The candidate leads utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to continuously improve efficiency of operations. The position requires strong proficiency in labor, methods, and equipment Return on Investment (ROI) calculation as well as facilities layout and work process control. As Finelite is committed to reducing waste and continuous 5S, the candidate must have superior lean manufacturing skills. Reporting to the Director of Lean Business Process (or IE Manager), the qualified candidate will be expected to work independently and diligently, using technical judgment, and manufacturing knowledge to support operational initiatives.
