Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Systems Analyst to join the Legrand Team in Fort Mill, SC. The individual in this role provides critical expertise necessary to ensure the logistics organization can fully utilize the efficiency and accuracy offered by the automated warehouse management system in the execution of order fulfillment. Analyze user requirements, procedures, to improve existing systems.  Review daily statistic on distribution centers.

  • Four year degree in a computer related or business analysis field or equivalent experience. 


  • 3-5 years in a distribution or production environment.


  • Exceptional computer skills, extensive knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and data base software, proficiency with various e-mail, calendaring, meeting management and related communications software.  Must be proficient with WM i-series systems.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Demonstrated close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.
  • Must have strong customer service orientation.  Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team based environment.  Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.

Position Attributes

Organization:  Legrand Logistics.

Main Interface:  Manager of Logistics, Distribution staff.


Main Job Duties:

  1. Be the focal point in Logistics for Corporate IT / Distribution problem resolution, testing and performance issues.
  2. Test, Evaluates, & Configure software to determine efficiency, reliability, with existing system. (Manhattan WM IBM i-series)
  3. Gathers statistical information on distribution progress.  (Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly performance) Provide reports to all areas which allow for management by exception.  Large numbers of items are involved and priorities and/or deficiencies must be identified quickly coordinated among all key functional areas:  Information Technology, Software Vendors, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Distribution Operations to effect seamless service for the Distribution Centers.
  4. Assist in the direction, research and development of new techniques processes and procedures.
  5. Work in a team approach to problem solving where consistent analysis helps identify the best mix of software process and human procedure to ensure consistent results.
  6. Aid in develop training plans and standard procedures in conjunction with operations leaders to ensure compliance. Ensure that all systems used in the facility are aligned with corporate reporting requirements and that systems are synchronized proper
