Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative (OEM Channel) to join the Wattstopper Team in Richardson, TX. This role is responsible for internal sales and support of the Legrand sales programs/initiatives, account management processes, and lead qualification, with a proactive sales effort to solicit and develop new customer relationships and revenue growth opportunities. 

The Wattstopper line of products offers a comprehensive solution of industry-leading energy efficient lighting controls technology and applications for the commercial space, designed to meet code, ensure ease of installation, and enable the control of natural and artificial light in indoor spaces.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Bachelors Degree in business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, customer support or sales.  

Additional Qualifications:

  • Exhibit effective sales techniques, with strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
  • Be interested in and capable of learning about products and associated technologies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to recognize and develop opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational skills, persistence and enthusiasm about our business.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications particularly Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Previous working knowledge of CRM systems is a plus (e.g. SFDC).

 

Position Attributes

Main Job Duties to Include:

  • Performs on a team of Inside Sales Reps in support of OEM channel marketing and sales programs geared toward regional, national, and in some instances international customers.
  • Assists customers with their requests for price, quotes, samples, and access to technical documentation on our products, helps channel or elevate other type of inquiries to the appropriate functional departments within Legrand, and contributes to the prompt resolution of customer complaints or any other outstanding issues.
  • Makes outbound calls and actively prospects for new sources of revenue with new and developing accounts in coordination with field sales and sales management.
  • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of customer account, region, and channel management initiatives and utilizes performance and CRM data management tools. 
  • Participates in weekly, monthly and yearly team oriented sales meetings as needed.
  • Tools include new PCs, wireless headsets, comfortable work area, SalesForce.com CRM solution, etc.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
