Position Description/Company Info

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Manager to join the Legrand Team. The eCommerce Manager will manage tactical level day-to-day activities driving profitable business with Amazon.  This person will be the focal point between the Legrand businesses (with exceptions), the Rep group handling our on-line program and directly with Amazon.  The responsibilities of this role include analyzing all aspects of the Amazon business on a day-to-day basis, liaising with each business to make sure each product presents itself with pricing, smart attributes, images and videos, coordinating with the Rep firm all aspects needed in executing the marketing plan and monitoring the operational aspect to minimize fines, maximize service satisfaction and forecast.  The ideal candidate has experience as it relates to hardline (electrical) products, business analytics, marketing plans, trade budget management and SEO optimization.  Online retail knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree required

Experience:

  • 2 year(s)+ experience in a world class Sales/Marketing organization or the dotcom space
  • 2 year(s)+ experience managing across teams

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Strong facilitation and problem solving skills - must be able to prioritize tasks and adapt to change quickly
  • Strong analytical skills and fluent in Excel – must have accurate reporting measures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Copy-writing experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, internal and within the agency or account
  • Adaptable and results oriented in a fast paced and evolving team
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves in order to get the job done
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Position Attributes

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor sales (weekly), operations, future plans, and competitive pressures to maximize sales and profits
  • Manage the Rep agency to prepare monthly sales reports analyzing marketplace trends, retail sales, business unit trends and any competitive activity
  • Analyze all promotions, tracking promotional funding and results to maximize ROI
  • Lead weekly business calls with internal cross functional teams, agency to optimize the assortment, marketing, and operations
  • Drive marketing and operations deliverables from the business units in support of the agency and Amazon’s need for the strongest potential online presence (additional spec sheet, videos, images, fulfillment solutions and forecasting)
  • Know Legrand’s portfolio of products to fast-track agency optimization of content (such as images, manuals, spec sheets, etc.), remove 3rd party listings on Amazon and optimize promotional considerations
  • Learn and become self-sufficient within Vendor and Seller Central
  • Identify marketing or operational solutions and work-arounds to support online business needs when solutions may not exist today
  • Prioritize and manage initiatives for Legrand businesses and agency(s) to execute on in timely manner, resulting in achievement of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial targets
