Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Customer Service Intern to join the Data Communications Division in Albia, IA. The primary purpose of the Customer service Representative is to provide support for Account Managers, Inside Sales and Field Sales teams by accurately keying orders

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of call center or sales experience, preferably in a related industry.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Highly dependable
  • Typing minimum of 30 wpm
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret customer information, as well as cable specifications and hardware requirements.
  • Individual must possess the ability to communicate in an accurate and timely fashion and be willing to handle challenging conversations.
  • Must exhibit high levels of energy, enthusiasm, tenacity and ambition.
  • Must be self-motivated and seek rewards consistent with opportunities available.
  • H.S. Diploma, Technical Degree preferred
  • Ability to manage own work flow and meet deadlines
  • Essential that incumbent maintains a high level of integrity as monitors for fraudulent orders and/or accounts.

 

Position Attributes

Main Job Duties:

 

1.    Enters customer orders and respond to customer requests in a timely and accurate manner.

2.    Handle Literature requests for Customers/Sales Reps

3.    Provide tracking on customer’s orders upon request.

4.    File customer orders

5.    Manage work flow and meet customer required deadlines.

6.    Monitor fraudulent orders and/or accounts

7.    Fax order acknowledgments

8.    Accomplish other assignments or projects assigned by other members of management on an as needed basis
