Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Lead to join the Legrand Team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In a distribution center proven results oriented team player, able to communicate with all areas and levels of the organization, function within a demanding, dynamic environment with open mindedness and a high degree of initiative, likes challenges and great desire to learn. Under supervision, perform a wide variety of activities related to the receipt, inspection, processing, storage, distribution and moving of incoming materials, supplies and equipment.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
  • Experience: Two years of warehouse supervision experience.
  • Certifications: Forklift License


  • Basic reading and writing skills in English & Spanish.
  • Basic use of RF Scanner.
  • Math skills.  
  • Computer skills including internet, email and excel knowledge.
  • Able to communicate effectively, orally and written.
  • Able to work overtime when necessary.
  • Ability to safely operate moving equipment properly without risk to self injury, others and equipment.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Understands importance of internal and external customer service.

  • Internal: All levels of employees within the distribution center or manufacturing operations. 
  • External: Customers, carriers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Budget: Provides input.


  • Position leads in specific roles to accomplish daily goals. Directly lead hourly employees while providing support and development. Reduce/increase work force to accommodate workload. Manage the use of overtime. Manage a clean and safe work environment.
  • Establishes and maintains employee performance standards.  Works with employees to set goals and define development needs.  Provides ongoing, timely feedback and periodic formal performance evaluations, per company guidelines.  As required, handles corrective/disciplinary actions.
  • Coaches, trains and develops team members.
  • Work with various teams such as the administrative, management, and customer service to ensure the best possible service to the customer and strives to meet all customer expectations.  Supports quality in all functions and transactions throughout the warehouse.
  • Direct the continuous flow of inbound receipts, put-a-ways, replenishment, outbound shipments of LTL/UPS orders, and returns throughout the facility. Meet daily deadlines and shipping and receiving goals. Monitor entire Distribution Center.
  • Ensure inventory supplies are sufficient and request for additional supplies are made with the appropriate personnel.
  • Administer Distribution Center policies in a firm, fair and consistent manner. Conduct regular meetings with leads to ensure good communication, collaboration, and cooperation. In an effort to ensure communication and team effort in fulfilling the daily operations of the Distribution Center.
