    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Lean and Continuous Improvement Leader to join the OCL Team in St Louis, MO. Reporting to Director, Operations, implement/utilize “Lean” and Continuous Improvement principles in manufacturing and administrative environments to improve productivity, quality and to meet or exceed cost objectives.

    • Bachelor Degree (Technical Field Preferred)
    • Masters Degree preferred



    • Three (3) years or more supporting and leading “Lean”/CI activities in a complex Manufacturing environment.
    • Facilitation in a “Lean”/CI Environment.
    • Six Sigma/ “Lean”/CI Certifications desirable.



    • Proven Results Oriented Team Player, Leadership and Communication Skills, Must Have the Ability to Communicate with all Areas and levels of the Organization, Extensive experience with Microsoft Office – particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Must have a proven “Lean”/Six Sigma success track record with progressive manufacturing organizations.

    Position Attributes

    Main Activities:  Plan and facilitate Kaizen and Continuous Improvement events/projects that support organizational goals. Energize and proliferate a “Lean” culture at all levels of OCL.

    • Organization: OCL Operations
    • Main Interface: OCL Director, Operations, Manufacturing Managers, various operations support departments.   
    • Budget:  Not directly responsible for budget

    Main Job Duties:

    • Analyze data, identify areas of opportunity, and target “Lean” events to support business goals at  OCL site
    • Working with key stakeholders to standardize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality and safety at  OCL site
    • Working with key stakeholders to develop and implement “Standard Work” as required at  OCL Operations
    • Improve the “Visual Factory” at  OCL site by incorporating management dashboards and visual indicators for “Standard Work”   
    • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events
    • Develop projects that improve Customer Service, Quality and Safety at  OCL site
    • Train OCL personnel on various lean tools and processes. 
    • Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement
    • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
    • Minimum travel required
