Legrand has an opening for a Sales & Operations Manager in their Atlanta, GA location. In this role you will coordinate daily activities related to the operations of The Home Depot account. You will be actively involved in the daily functions of the Legrand business and will be taking a leadership role in reset execution, MET training and working in a collaborative team environment to help drive sales.


Duties include: Sales Analysis, Category Management, Project Management and Sales Support. This position will focus on the operational aspect of the business with the flexibility to support the retail sales team to achieve internal & external metrics for Legrand and Home Depot. This position will require 30% travel.

Responsibilities and Duties 


Sales Analyst

  • Track sales, forecasts, and budget to insure retail sales team is successfully achieving all LNA and Home Depot metrics
  • Provide numbers for PLRs and program P&Ls
  • Responsible to ensure correct item set-up and actively maintain SKU’s on Home Depot’s systems (ex. IDM, CHUB, Home Depot Link)
  • Maintain an internal sales database
  • Maintain and monitor all Home Depot portals and data bases
    • Manage vendor scorecards for both brands
  • Monitor vendor scorecard for online
  • Monitor PO accuracy and performance
    • Identify and correct reoccurring issues
    • Ensure reporting accuracy to reduce or eliminate exposure to performance fines
    • Work with Customer Service in disputing any fines incurred


Category Management

  • Collaborate with Depot on monthly sales forecasts, inventory planning & replenishment
  • Monitor inventory:
    • Ensure a minimum of 4 weeks in-stock compliance
  • Identify affected products, markets, and stores
  • Make recommendations to improve inventory levels
  • Monitor OOS and zero sales
    • Communicate with our inventory planning manager (IPR’s) to ensure products are correctly identified and properly stocked
  • Look for ways to optimize GMROI & turns through smarter merchandising
  • Identify sales opportunities and poor performers based on retail market analysis
  • Monitor industry, consumer and technology trends that can provide a competitive advantage
  • Make product assortment recommendations based on trends
  • Provide management with sales data to help determine sales strategies
  • Maintain a retail competitive database (retail price shops)
    • Depot is testing pricing elasticity and retails are not consistent nationally
  • Prepare and assist with product Line Reviews, collaborate on the deck and attend final presentations


Project Management

  • Manage all new product rollouts including new item set-up in IDM
    •  Work with team to drive sales through quarter pallet promotions, off shelf displays and testing of new and existing products
  • MET Team-
    • Be the point of contact for the MET Team
    • Provide communications and training materials to Home Depot sales associates
    • et up in-store/in-aisle training in advance with store associates and MET team members whenever travelling in the field
  • Manage and coordinate all resets, including completion of ISSR’s
    • participation in time study’s (POC Stores) and traveling to the initial or high target stores involved in overnight resets
  • Responsible for leading the team in weekly reset conference calls, tracking product and fixture shipments, auditing stores, managing 3rd party vendors, develop retail launch kits, train reset teams on best practices
    •  Drive costs out of resets through comprehensive analysis
  • Monitor all test stores sales performance and inventory levels
  • Manage buyback implementation and execution
  • Responsible for processing Purchase Orders for the Legrand Home Depot account
    • Creates PO’s - follows up on open PO’s to see if they have been paid, and are assigned to the correct budget line
  • Assist Marketing & Sales in gathering information from engineering, marketing and manufacturing to support everyday requests from Merchants and other Home Depot associates
  • Ensures all signed contracts get loaded to SharePoint and distributed to the appropriate parties (Finance, Controllers, General Manager, etc.)
  • Office Communications- Maintains all utilities, alarm system, and A/V equipment.
