    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join the Raritan Team in Somerset, NJ. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who is well organized to assist in our global marketing initiatives and lead generation efforts. The Marketing Specialist works closely with the Marketing team and Product Managers to support marketing activities (shows, product launches, campaigns, etc) and utilize marketing expertise to help develop and execute marketing programs that will increase demand and drive revenue.

    • Marketing BA, BBA or BS preferred.


    • 2-3 years experience in marketing


    • Excellent working knowledge of MS suite
    • Experience in Marketo Marketing Automation Software (or similar software)
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
    • Candidate must be highly detailed oriented, extremely organized, able to work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Familiarity with any of the following areas is considered an asset:
      • Marketing, Advertising, Event Coordination, Project Management
      • Intermediate copy writing skills
      • Online advertising

    Position Attributes

    Main Responsibilities:


    Project Support

    • Work closely with internal departments to plan, develop and execute media campaigns, advertising, public relations, events and promotion activities.
    • Manage the creation and execution of collateral, advertising assets, emails and organizing advertising schedules.
    • Research, maintain and report on marketing data to aid management in determining marketing direction.
    • Help maintain a database of available collateral and promotional items.
    • Works closely with the product management and product marketing teams in organizing messages and supporting product launches.
    • Create campaigns and set up tracking in CRM systems (Marketo & SalesForce).

    Event Management

    • Manage the planning and execution related to the successful production of trade shows and events.   Pack materials for shipments.
    • Manage hosting facility and secondary facilities. 
    • Manage all audio / visual and product demo logistics and setup. 
    • Manage the creation of all conference material for inclusion in web-page, advertising and publicity materials.
    • Manage lead upload and follow up process.
    • Coordinate events with other Legrand businesses.

    Administrative Support

    • Provides support for the department's purchasing and accounting needs.
    • Handles shipment requests for Field Sales and Resellers.
