    Required Skills

    • BS in Business or Operations Management
    • 5+ years of experience as a Scheduler in a manufacturing environment
    • 5+ year experience utilizing Excel, Word, Powerpoint, e-mail and a meeting management software. 

    Preferred Skills

    • APICS certification (CPIM and/or CPM)
    • ERP, DRP, MRP, MRPII, or similar. 
    • Access, Crystal Reports or other data retrieval / report writing.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Close attention to detail
    • Effectively handling multiple priorities.
    • Evaluating situations, identifying options, implementing effective solutions quickly.

    • Communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Listening well, maintaining focus, extracting necessary information and validating your understanding of the information.

    Position Attributes

    What Will You Do?

    • Analyze the finished item forecast from Marketing.
    • Coordinate forecast changes and deviations with the Forecast Manager, Forecast Analyst and/or marketing team.
    • Use capacity planning tools to make recommendations to the Production and Inventory Control Manager to change production rates or increase OT.
    • Execute the production plan and maintain the Master Production Schedule.
    • Liaison between Marketing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing.
    • Be the initial contact for Customer Service inquiries.
    • Monitor production to plan and takes corrective action where necessary.
    • Monitors and controls the deviations made in the engineering database.
    • Implement product changes or new product introductions.
