    Regional Sales Manager

    Legrand is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our WattStopper Team in Chicago, IL. We’re looking to you to develop the regional sales plan and implement marketing strategies.  You’ll work with the Regional Vice President to staff, motivate and develop an effective internal and external sales force. You’ll also establish and develop a strong network while growing key strategic account relationships. 


    Main Job Duties:

    • Prepare annual business plan.
    • Manage employees in your region, including establishing and maintaining employee performance standards.
    • Develop agency salespeople to maximize sales efforts.
    • Conducts sales presentations.
    • Ensure relevant training for direct and agency representatives.
    • Attends local and national shows.
    • Coordinate marketing efforts in order to maximize sales volume, product mix and margin.
    • Develop key Specifier relationships to enhance market /product intelligence as well as creating opportunity, maintaining loyalty and continuity.



    Basic Qualifications:   

    • Related Bachelor’s degree 
    • Minimum of 10 years in Lighting/Electrical Industry.
    • Minimum of 5 years of Managerial experience.
    • Minimum of 5 Years Specification experience.

    Additional Qualifications:


    MBA preferred.

    • Extensive specification experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of our products, geographic markets and channels.
    • Solid business acumen. 
    • Ability to manage and implement marketing strategies.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, project management and presentation skills.
    • Excellent collaborator with the ability to work in a team based environment.
    • Computer proficiency with Office applications.
    • Ability to keep the organization up to date with CSI sections 25 and 26.
