    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Inside Sales Specialist III to join the Pinnacle Architectural Lighting Team in Denver, CO. he primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Specialist III is the management of sales orders from receipt of purchase order through post-sales. This person controls all aspects of order management, including but not limited to: providing order acknowledgements to the independent sales representatives as orders are received, fielding technical questions, and managing the order entry of all modification/custom requests. This position’s primary focus will be high level, complex orders. The Inside Sales Specialist III will be a point of contact for all representatives within a specified territory. Due to the company’s stature as a top-tier, industry leading brand that generally does not compete primarily on price, a high degree of collaboration with the representative sales force is usually required in order to maintain vital relationships for ensuring the likelihood of securing future orders.


    What Will You Do?

    • Responsible for complex order management including but not limited to:  Order Entry, use of a Product Configurator for order entry into an ERP system, Price Reconciliation, and Order Acknowledgement to the Agent.
    • Provides excellent Customer Service and is a point of contact for agents and outside customers based on a specified territory, including fielding technical questions from both parties.  Is knowledgeable in Pinnacle fixture standards and manufacturing processes.
    • Manages large and complex projects (multiple releases, complicated requirements, etc.) with effective communication and documentation with other departments.  Works with RSM and Agent to control and uphold customer expectations.  Involves management as needed to reprioritize within manufacturing process.
    • Regularly attends production meetings for follow through with all departments on order requirements and obstacles.
    • Successfully completes projects to customers’ satisfaction.
    • Manages the Custom/Modification Request process for all non-standard products from receipt of purchase order, providing detailed, accurate and timely information to the ACE (Applications and Custom Engineering) Team as needed.
    • Provides detailed, accurate and timely information to the Submittals Team as needed.
    • Responsible for quality and cost control of projects through accuracy of order entry, information and documentation provided to internal and external customers through effective communication and established protocol.
    • Uses and updates the workflow management system (currently The Q) in a timely and appropriate manner to properly reflect current status of projects.
    • Manages and maintains all project folders, documents and related drawings.
    • Post-order customer service including fielding installation and technical questions, and routing Service and Warranty/Return Goods issues to either the Inside Sales Coordinator or Post-Sales Department.
    • Participates in the rollout of price increases through various duties as required.
    • Monitors the specification credit tracking process, including back-end order checking.
    • Maintains job standards in accordance with departmental and company procedures.
    • Performs duties (included but not limited to the above accountabilities) involved in the operation of company, brand and departmental programs, projects and activities characterized by a confidential nature and/or requiring the use of discretion, integrity, judgment, tact and knowledge of applicable operations personnel.



    Basic Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • 5+ years of experience in Customer Service/Inside Sales and/or Quotations
    • 5+ years of experience utilizing quotations/pricing management software tools, including such ERP systems as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or People-Soft

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BS in Business.
    • Experience in the lighting, electrical or construction industry highly preferred.
    • This position involves extensive interpersonal interface with agents and sales managers and requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
    • Strong working knowledge of, experience with and proficiency in office computer systems and windows based software (including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, personal information managers, presentation programs, Internet browsing and email) required.
    • Be detail oriented and well organized.
    • Be able to prioritize and multi-task.
    • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
    • Have a positive attitude and a professional demeanor.
