    Sr. Business Intelligence Developer

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data Communications Division in Dayton, OH or West Hartford, CT.  You’ll be a key contributor to a recognized leader in network infrastructure solutions, with products designed to support data centers, building networks and audio/video applications.


    What Will You Do?

    • Deliver Business Warehouse (BW) and Business Intelligence (BI) best practices.
    • Serve as an advocate for BI use to the user community.
    • Handle full ETL process from source systems into BW objects.
    • Manages the full lifecycle of BW and Business Objects development.
    • Help create BW development standards and developing technical documentation.
    • Consult with customers to ensure alignment of projects with business needs.
    • Oversee backups, maintenance plans, monitoring, and applying SQL Updates.




    Basic Qualifications:

    • BS in computer science or related field.
    • 5+ years of SAP Business Warehouse development experience.
    • Background in at least 1-2 functional areas (SD, MM, PP, FI).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Implementation and full life-cycle experience.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL environments
    • Expertise with SAP Bex, BOBJ Analysis for OLAP, Web Intelligence and Dashboard Designer, etc.
    • SAP BW certifications preferred.
    • Experience with standard and custom extractors, transfer structures, communication structures, and associated conversion requirements.
    • Background with POS Data Management.
    • Strong organizational, communication and time/project management skills.
