    Server Technology, a Brand of Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Data/Analyst Intern to join the Server Technology (Data Center Power & Control) Marketing Team in Reno, NV. This entry level position will be working under the Marketing Programs Manager, collaborating with Sales Operations to gather information, develop reports for internal and client use, identify and manage trends and coordinate various marketing materials. This is a part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.

    Qualifications

    Education:    

    • Working toward a Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with emphasis in Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Management. (Junior or Senior preferred)

     

    Experience: 

    • Marketing analysis experience, preferred.

     

    Ideal Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

    • Experience compiling, analyzing, and creating visualizations from various data source.
    • Experience with Excel & large datasets
      • Preference for experience with Excel Power Pivot and Pivot Charts
    • Basic understanding of relational databases.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/Power Point).

    Position Attributes

    Overview:
    The Marketing Analyst Intern will report to the Marketing Program Manager and Director of Marketing. Candidate will work in a fast-paced and fun team environment. This position will play a key role in driving Marketing Team performance and overall growth of the Server Technology brand. Daily projects may include export data, complete research, and perform data analysis in support of the Marketing Team at Server Technology. Specific projects will be designed to inform and influence commercial growth strategies and tactics for Server Technology markets. The intern will interact across all marketing platforms and marketing personnel to extrapolate data in support of business decision making.

     

    What you will learn:

    • How to acquire and interpret data.
    • How to identify and manage trends in data.
    • How to create reports, including visuals to help internal staff and clients understand data presented.
    • How to produce and develop standard reports as well as custom reports.
    • How to communicate both over the phone and via email with marketing to understand and meet reporting needs.
    • How to identify trends.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with various data and visualization related projects
    • Run monthly marketing metrics and key performance reports from Salesforce CRM, HubSpot Marketing Automation, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn.
    • Review SEO/SEM performance and report on top 50 performing keywords
    • Review of Social Media marketing metrics.
    • Review various reports for data integrity issues.
    • Review of Marketing Attribution reporting system to assist with Marketing Campaign post mortems.
    • Various other duties to help the marketing team when needed.
