    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Lead to join the Commercial AV Division in Dayton, OH. The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for supporting a regional territory by establishing account relationships and providing a high level of customer satisfaction with key influencers and decision makers. Additionally, they will need to exercise the ability to build internal relationships and work cross-functionally to maximize account revenues. Inside Sales Leads act as a liaison and as the first point of escalation for our Field Sales Team. The Inside Sales Lead will also be expected to take advantage of training and growth opportunities offered through Legrand to maintain an up to date knowledge of Legrand/Middle Atlantic, current trends within the commercial audio video industry, and job specific skill development.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business or Technical related field preferred or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of successful sales, customer service and or industry related experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

     

    • 1-2 years in an Inside Sales Representative role at Middle Atlantic is preferred
    • Solid working knowledge of Professional Audio Visual, Sound and Security systems and components.
    • Excellent understanding of the Commercial AV Industry and our Integration Partners
    • Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com

    Position Attributes

    Position Duties/Responsibilities to Include:

    • Utilize Action Selling during inbound/outbound interactions to build rapport, understand the buying process, and gain customer commitments to move the sales process forward.
    • Work with multiple MAP field sales resources to identify and manage a pipeline of opportunities to support regional revenue quotas.
    • Participate in all regional strategic meetings to discuss Key Accounts, KPI’s, and other initiatives
    • Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing Program Planner to help drive business plan execution
    • Understand MAP capabilities to effectively sell/support/promote all MAP solutions to all customers on all projects.
    • Develop personally and professionally to maintain an understanding of an ever-changing technological industry.
    • Balance time and priorities across multiple opportunities to meet/exceed sales objectives.
    • Maintain appropriate activity levels to support company objectives and achievement of goals.
    • Accomplish other assignments or projects assigned by management.

    Sales Quotas

    • Working with the Sales Analyst and Management, establish sales quotas for all markets under this positions auspices.
    • Periodically review performance to quota and provide updated outlooks.

    Communicating Field Observations

    • Identify and communicate competitor activities and other industry activities that affect us to Product Management.
    • Closely monitor and report our effectiveness in all sales and marketing activities.
    • Feedback all information pertaining to MAP operations as they affect the short and or long term sales and customer satisfaction for the company to the Inside Sales Manager.
    • Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of MAP distribution policies to the Inside Sales Manager.
    • Identify and communicate product and or product line opportunities or deficiencies to Product Management.

    Profit Margins and Sales Volumes

    • Jointly responsible for establishing and achieving profit margins and sales volumes for the company along with all other sales and marketing managers.

     

    Perform other duties as required by the Inside Sales Manager to ensure the realization of departmental and corporate goals.
