     Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Thorough knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel
    • Must have the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously


    • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree

    Physical Requirements:

    • Physical Demands: Extensive use of hands/wrists when using keyboard.  Must be able to twist, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
    • Visual Ability: Visual accommodation necessary for reading written instructions and PC monitor

    Position Attributes

    At a Glance

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Intern to join the Electrical Wiring Systems team in West Hartford, CT. The purpose of this position is to support the marketing and sales team in the development, execution and tracking of all marketing initiatives. The marketing intern will also work with internal and external customers to provide marketing support



    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with marketing team, creative services and web team to develop materials for planned advertising campaigns, web tools, collateral and other marketing materials (brochures, catalogs, pricing guides, etc.) as required.
    • Works with sales team to understand their needs and their customers’ needs and as a result executes needed marketing programs and support the distribution channel.
    • Collaborates with the marketing, sales and creative team to determine monthly email blast topics, create the email blasts and coordinate distribution.
    • Assist marketing team in development of SEO strategy.
    • Collects relevant account information as needed (marketing spend, account specific information, etc.).
    • Provides project support (i.e. new product launches, marketing campaigns, etc…) as needed.
    • Ability to quickly learn product offering and applications, as well as understand the customers where those products would align.
    • Support the Product Marketing Team with projects as needed.
    • Assists with preparing materials for customer shows.
    • Other duties as assigned.
