    At a Glance


    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a  Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the OCL Team in Saint Louis, MO. The individual in this role will manage the collection of account receivables in compliance with established policies. This includes account reconciliation, backlog management, credit limit management, and assisting Sales Operations with dispute resolution and customer communication.



    What Will You Do?


    • Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit memos
    • Process customer cash collections and deposits within the terms and conditions of the company
    • Research and follow up on past due accounts as well as payment issues, such as chargeback’s, unauthorized deductions, and policy compliance
    • Prepare pro-forma invoices
    • Prepare accounts receivable reconciliation on a monthly basis
    • Review and analyze bad debt reserve with the assistant of the Controller
    • Prepare monthly/special reports, such as sales reports
    • Prepare and update commission report with
    • Establish credit limits and run D&B for new/existing customers
    • Recommend ways to improve processes to avoid future collection issues.
    • Perform other duties as required


    Required Skills



    • A.S. in accounting, finance or business related area


    • 1-3 years experience in credit collections, accounts receivables and/or account reconciliation



    • Good working knowledge of economics, finance, accounting, sales, and marketing
    • Ability to work independently
    • Able to pay close attention to detail
    • Ability to audit work to identify issues
    • Strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
    • Exceptional computer skills, knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and data base software, proficiency with various e-mails, calendaring, meeting management and related communications software
    • Highly collaborative and able to work in a team based environment
