    Payroll Coordinator

    Legrand has an important opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator in West Hartford, CT. In this key role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of payroll processing, funding preparation, reconciliations and more. You will assist with integration of acquisitions, consolidations and reorganizations of existing companies, and system upgrades.

    What Will You Do?

    • Handle day-to-day payroll processing using the Cerdian Dayforce HR/Payroll system.
    • Calculate, confirm and transmit payrolls for each assigned business unit.
    • Run audit reports and transmit to appropriate HR team member.
    • Maintain company and employee payroll records.
    • Prepare, balance and distribute payroll funding requests and associated vendor payments.
    • Prepare journal entries for financial close.
    • Reconcile payroll related accounts.


    Basic Qualifications

    • Four years of payroll experience with an enterprise HR/payroll system.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BS in accounting, finance or related field.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to confidentially handle highly sensitive material.
    • Computer proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce payroll system.
    • Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
