    Product Manager

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Pinnacle Architectural Lighting team - a leader in the creation of innovative architectural lighting concepts. You will be responsible for complete management of designated product line(s). This will include product development, sales support and training, promotional activities, forecasting, inventory and operations performance, long-term planning and budget planning.



     

    What Will You Do?

    • Collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential products and markets.
    • Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes.
    • Collaborate with inside/outside sales teams and agents to formulate plans to focus resources on improving sales and gaining a competitive advantage.
    • Conduct field visits, meet with customers and initiate research to maintain a constant flow of new products and product enhancements.
    • Prepare major launch collateral.
    • Prepare and lead monthly S&OP meetings for designated product line.
    • Lead the long term vision for designated product line, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, market share and profitability.
    • Monitor and review product line performance and trends to evaluate budget.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • BS in marketing, business or engineering.
    • 5+ years of experience in product management, developing, driving and executing product line strategic plans for new product introduction and new feature implementation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Background with electrical devices, standards and in-wall devices.
    • Strong communication, organizational and time/project management skills.
    • Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Computer and Internet proficiency.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and identify new ways to serve/satisfy customer.
    • Highly collaborative attitude
