    At a Glance

     

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Representative to join the Electrical Wiring System Team in Atlanta, GA. The candidate in this role will manage the company sales and marketing activities at the electrical distribution level in order to advance the Brand/Customer relationship. Grow Market share by developing relationships with key end users of our products.

     

     

    What Will You Do?

    1. Establish and grow account/end user relationships to ensure that the corporate and territory goals are met or exceeded.
    2. Develop and manage territory business plans. This consists of Expenses, sample budgets, end user presence. Completion of all reports in a timely and articulate manner.
    3. Work within the Engineer and consulting community. Utilize the EWS relationship to help promote and secure specifications.
    4. Establish a presence at the state and local government levels for inspectors and code awareness.
    5. Have a close working relationship with corporate functions. This would include providing competitive feedback to pricing departments, working with product managers, technical support and customer service.
    6. Develop and maintain local training programs. Alter corporate programs to suit individual territory needs. Train and educate customers and end users on the application, features and benefits of our products.
    7. Performs other similar and related duties as required.
    8. Daily usage of CRM Tool (SFDC)
      • Project Management
      • Job Tracking
      • Open Opportunity Management
      • Contact/Account Updates
      • Key Territory Business Plans
      • Territory updates of activities at National Accounts.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

     

    EDUCATION:

    • 4 year degree or equivalent experience

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 years of prior sales experience.
    • Experience with electrical distribution channel or other similar distribution channel.
    • Demonstrated track record of successful contractor sales

     

    SKILLS/KNOWELDGE/ABILITIES:

    • Must have a strong product knowledge and technical understanding and be able to provide hands on presentations of products to large groups.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information. Must be able to able to craft and give presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.
    • Must demonstrate effective negotiation skills and be able to adapt to rapidly evolving business climate and environment.
    • Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of common business and CRM tools.
