    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Global Account Manager to join theLegrand/Otronics team and work remotly. The Global Account Manager will be 

    reporting to the Vice President of Global Account Sales, this role will be responsible for the development of sales and the implementation of marketing strategies set forth by the company.  This role will focus on large end-users with locations spreading over multiple states, national, multi-national and global footprints. These end users should have centralized purchasing or headquarters in the U.S.  Key to this position will be the ability to leverage industry and client relationship skills within the enterprise market along with Legrand NA’s established product portfolio to formulate and deliver solutions unique to this customer

     

     

    What Will You Do?

     

    1. Develop differentiated programs utilizing Legrand NA brands represented within commercial Data Comm.  Proactively market contracts and programs to customer base where appropriate. 
    2. Utilize professional consultative sales expertise to conduct business analysis and then develop, present and implement customized business solutions to the customer.
    3. Work with the channel, RVP’s and rep agencies to target and develop multi-region, national, and global End User accounts which reside and/or have decision influence in the Eastern portion of the U.S.  Work with other ESP resources when appropriate to develop an effective coordinated sales strategy.  Collaborate to maximize volume, mix and margin.
    4. Responsible for expansion of business within these targeted accounts with all Legrand Data Communications products.
    5. Engage Enterprise Solutions team to maximize and leverage strategic market value and drive a business development model.
    6. Fully engage and serve as a key member within the Enterprise Solutions team, contributing to strategic direction, program development and customer relationship with national and global accounts. 
    7. Drive channel friendly strategies consistent with the ESP Business Model.
    8. Prepare annual sales and expense forecasts.
    9. Prepare annual business plan in support of company objectives.
    10. Conduct quarterly business reviews.
    11. Utilize key channel relationships to enhance market/product intelligence as well as volume sales.
    12. Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales potential and other important activities within market responsibilities.
    13. Fiscal responsibility for cost center in conjunction with budgetary levels provided.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

     

    Education:   
    Minimum, Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field, Masters Degree Preferred
    Experience:
    10 years experience in a world class Sales/Marketing organization
    10 years experience in managing across teams.
    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    High level of communication and organizational skills, strong teaming skills, personal sales skills, marketing  implementation strategy, manage complex issues such as; distribution selection, personnel selection, territorial development. Maintaining the image and integrity of the Company with our clients, consultants, distribution partners. Negotiating contracts, maintaining our margins with distribution channels
