    At a Glance

     

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join the Server Technology Team in Reno, NV. 

    The Customer Service Representative will perform a wide variety of routine administrative support for the sales team.  This position ensures that all assigned duties are performed quickly, efficiently and according to the established departmental and company policies, procedures and goals.

     

    What Will You Do?

     

    • Provide exceptional customer service responding to routine questions and providing information in a timely manner.
    • Verify accuracy of sales orders entered into Salesforce.
    • Push orders from Salesforce to Epicor reviewing accuracy of order in Epicor.
    • Provide communication regarding sales orders to sales team, finance, planning, product development, and shipping department to ensure all customer expectations are met. 
    • Use established guidelines to determine appropriate shipping methods, routing guides and export compliance documentation.
    • Perform data entry of credit card transactions and escalate discrepancies to Inside Sales Representative.
    • As directed by the Inside Sales Representative, make necessary changes to sales orders, shipping dates and expedite requests.
    • Respond to department voice mail messages and e-mail and coordinate follow up responses. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

    Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience:  A minimum of 6 months customer support experience in information technology industry, data center industry experience preferred.

     

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

    • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint), experience with Salesforce.com and Epicor preferred.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the Company including Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Position may be required to attend events outside of normal work hours.
