  • Position Description

    Main Activities:


    • Organization:   Individual Contributor competency model
    • Main Interface Internal – mechanical engineering. External –vendors, suppliers and other member of the BCS organization.
    • Main Job Duties: 
    1. Responsible for document management
    1. Assist in product development process and testing
    1. Generate new ECAD models from design specifications, modify existing designs to correct errors.
    1. Create solid models using SolidWorks as needed.
    2. Performs other similar and related duties as required.

    At least two years education towards a Mechanical Engineering degree, Associates degree in engineering technology, or equivalent education and experience. 


    Beginning level with ongoing coursework at minimum.  Higher level experience a plus.


    • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

    Experience with CAD/AutoCAD

    Experience using SolidWorks preferred

                Capable in Excel

    Works independently on assigned tasks

    Work as an individual contributor or as part of a development team

    Communicate on an above average level

    Possess the ability to learn new technologies quickly

    Solve problems and design issues with creativity and enthusiasm
