Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Manager, to join the Solarfective Team in Scarborough, ON.
Responsible for complete project management lifecycle for Shading projects. Includes communicating with all stakeholders, ensuring effective control of projects, and ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
What Will You Do?
Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control a number of projects at various stages of work. Must be able to effectively apply frameworks to support strategic planning and utilize research to guide decisions.
Ability to multi-task, adhere to multiple processes, and achieve a high degree of accuracy.
Adept at developing and implementing best practices with an aptitude for garnering buy-in and alignment from stakeholders and senior leadership.
Must be able to read engineering and architectural drawings.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus, extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information so as to manage clients, vendors, consultants and other third parties.
Must demonstrate effective negotiation skills and be able to adapt to rapidly evolving business climate and environment.
Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of common business and CRM tools.
