    At a Glance

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Sales- ED to join the WattStopper Team. The candidate in this role represents the company in all activities associated with ED. Directs the development of company ED marketing programs. Plans, develops, and implements Distributor promotions and marketing programs. Responsible for the assessment of distribution channels and promotional programs.

     

    What Will You Do?

     

    MAIN JOB DUTIES:

    1. Drives Revenue through recognition and realization of opportunity with existing accounts
    2. Manages channel account relationships in developing new business.
    3. Develops annual channel account action plans.
    4. Identifies all customer contract renewals and builds plan for the renewal of those contracts.
    5. Drives profitable revenue growth year over year ED.
    6. Works closely with Marketing to create Sales Programs centered on channel opportunities.
    7. Conducts regular Business Reviews and reporting with major accounts.
    8. Tracks and maintains all account activity in the company CRM application (Salesforce.com)
    9. Provides input into pricing, positioning and strategy within strategic verticals or markets.
    10. Provides sales forecasts and other reports to manager as required.
    11. Performs other similar and related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

     

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 7 + yrs sales/account management experience, significant experience in lighting controls. Background in sales, marketing, and/or channel account management with a track record of exceeding goals and targets.

     

    Preferred Skills

    • Demonstrated experience operating within and leading a sales culture of accountability.
    • Exceptional customer service orientation.
    • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
    • Strong foundation in managing demanding customer base.
    • Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively.
    • Acts and thinks like an owner/entrepreneur.
    • Must be comfortable managing relationships with executive level contacts.
    • Advanced conflict resolution skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional ability to successfully interface with clients and handle multiple priorities concurrently.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
    • 80/20 Action (execute)/ Strategic focus orientation.
    • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts.
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage long project cycles.
    • High capacity to learn and adapt.
    • High level of business maturity.
    • Ability to travel 50%.
