What Will You Do?- Oversees all functions within the finance operation of the business unit, including accounts payable/receivable, credit and collections, general accounting, internal controls, financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, and treasury.- Defines structure, roles, and responsibilities of finance organization in coordination Lighting Sector VP, Finance. Selects, manages, develops, and evaluates the performance of finance staff; recommends and implements personnel actions.- Prepares or directs preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and financial reports required by the organization or regulatory agencies promptly.- Recommends and develops policies, procedures, and systems to meet short and long term financial objectives. Anticipates the effect of these changes and communicates impact to stakeholders.- Ensures an accounting control environment is in place to support SOX compliance and meet or exceed internal audit requirements and annual SOX testing.- Maintains current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.- Conducts or coordinates audits of entity accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes and takes appropriate corrective actions as required.- Performs work on strategic projects and other similar and related duties as required.

This position will help direct the work of, support and lead a team of frontline employees within the warehouse area including receiving area and offsite Mayview warehouse. You will help maintain a safe and organized work environment while fostering teamwork and accountability. This is a first shift position and hours are 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. What Will You Do?- Models high standards of conduct and leadership. The DPC sector is a high-growth area for Legrand with a complex supply chain. The incumbent is a strong, experienced leader and able to function in both a matrix and direct organization. The key needs of this position are to develop an S&OP strategy that supports the needs of the four individual businesses along with overall inventory strategies to support business growth, optimize working capital, and minimize E&O. What Will You Do?- Review and follow guidelines as described in “Inventory Control Guideline” documentation, including MO (Manufacturing Order) production process, processing inbound inventory from receiving, and how to organize bin locations using FIFO (First in First out) inventory protocol.- Process MO’s (Manufacturing Orders) as they are created from sales confirming orders.- In processing MO’s, parts will be pulled from stock to fulfill the order and sent to lab or warehouse. Attention to detail is very important.- On MO’s in which the full quantity cannot be fulfilled and there is partial stock available, an inquiry must be sent to sales asking if partial shipment can be sent. If no, tag the MO as a backorder. If yes, process MO with the available quantity and create a backorder MO for the remaining quantity.- Assist in quarterly and end of year cycle counts on physical inventory.- Organize or re-organize bin locations using FIFO as the inventory organization protocol.- Maintains consistent stock of finished goods inventory, creating Manufacturing orders, as needed, for quantities up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.- Process incoming parts from receiving by and storing the parts in the appropriate bin location for stock or to give to warehouse if for an order.- Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.- Performs other related duties as requested.
