    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Inside Sales Manager to join the Server Tech Team in Reno, NV. The Inside Sales Manager will report to and assist the Director of Sales Operations by managing and executing all inside sales activities in support of overall global sales operations. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership to achieve sales, profitability, and growth objectives. The Inside Sales Manager manages staff in areas such as work scheduling, communications, employee relations, performance counseling and performance reviews.

     

    What Will You Do?

     

    MAIN JOB DUTIES:

    • Provide leadership and clear direction to a team of inside sales professionals. Provide guidance and tactical involvement in all aspects of the sales process.
    • Coach/mentor and train staff on effective inside sales techniques through structured education and development initiatives as well as effective role play.
    • Provide daily direction and communication to employees to ensure customer needs are met in a timely, efficient, professional and knowledgeable manner.
    • Provide assistance to close large sales opportunities; handle and resolve escalated customer issues.
    • Provide expertise in Salesforce functionality, administration, report and dashboard building, related applications, and upcoming releases.
    • Coordinate the resolution of account issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
    • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship management (CRM) system.
    • Provides statistical and performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis to each team member.
    • Motivate the sales representatives to achieve and increase sales.
    • Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal employees and external customers.
    • Establish work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives.
    • Write and administer performance reviews for skill improvement.
    • Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program’s success across teams and departments throughout the company.
    • Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.
    • Lead, coach, and empower team members in a positive manner to maximize their potential and their contributions to key results for the company.
    • Assist in making recommendations and implementing approved projects to effectively manage, track, control and monitor all logistic activities and warehouse inventories.
    • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite work flow.
    • Participate in staff selection/interview process. Oversee recruiting, hiring, and training of warehouse staff.
    • Supervise and provide support and direction to all warehouse staff. Resolve personnel issues and support team building with positive and open communication.
    • Support and motivate staff to participate in company sponsored classes and training, with the objective of completing individual goals and compliance with mandatory training.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

     

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with emphasis in Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 years experiencing providing advanced support sales or inside sales experience in information technology industry, data center industry experience preferred and a minimum of 3 years managing a work team.

    SKILLS/KNOWELDGE/ABILITIES:

    • Ability to apply cost/benefits analysis to requested projects.
    • Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
    • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
    • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint), experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the Company including Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
    • Position will require limited travel; ideal candidate must be able to travel up to 4 times a year.
