Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join the Building Control Systems Team. This is a remote position based in Dallas or Houston, TX. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development of territorial Sales and the implementation of Marketing strategies set forth by the company; staffing sales positions with qualified, independent agents on a timely basis.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Evaluate the performance of all sales agencies. Counsel, train, advise, assist, and direct their activities in support of the complete Legrand offering and company objectives.
  • Motivate the Field Sales Force to high achievement levels.
  • Develop an effective Distribution network by growing key strategic account relationships.
  • Travel extensively to maintain a presence throughout the region.
  • Work in conjunction with senior management to coordinate market efforts in order to maximize volume, mix and margin.
  • Prepare annual sales and expense forecasts.
  • Prepare annual business plan in support of company objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Agents and Distribution channels.
  • Develop key End-User and channel relationships to enhance market/product intelligence as well as volume sales.
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales potential and other important activities within the region.
  • Fiscal responsibility for cost center in conjunction with budgetary levels provided.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • Minimum, Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field, Masters Degree Preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 years experience in a world class Sales/Marketing organization.
  • 5 years experience in managing across teams.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • High level of communication and organizational skills, strong teaming skills, personal sales skills, marketing implementation strategy, manage complex issues such as; distribution selection, personnel selection, territorial development.
  • Maintaining the image and integrity of the Company with our clients, consultants, distribution partners.
  • Negotiating contracts, maintaining our margins with distribution channels.
