Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Program Manager to join the LNA Corporate Team. This is a remote position. The Sr. Program Manager will be a strategic business partner to the Operations, Supply Chain, GM/VP, Finance and LNCA (corporate) organizations. This position is responsible for the overall success of high-profile strategic projects. Programs may involve strategic growth/reorganization initiatives. The Program Manager establishes program requirements, schedules, budgets, and resources; monitors program from initiation through implementation while assessing/managing risks and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure completion within established requirements. In addition, the Program Manager must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, stakeholders, senior leadership, and suppliers.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing and operations.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Operations and other functions to ensure efficient and timely project deliverables to both internal and external customers.
  • Develops the program scope and objectives based on the business needs and corporate initiatives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to direct entire cross-functional team to execute projects in a timely manner, with attention to detail and follow through.
  • Provide work direction and general program management oversight to assigned programs including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of program efforts to ensure that the program meets technical and process specifications.
  • Track project plans and provides detailed reports of progress against plan. Generate project reports and develops appropriate conclusions to ensure achievement of requirements, schedule, priorities, performance, and profitability.
  • Conduct risk assessment of strategic, technical, finance, political or business factors impacting the program. Formulate and takes corrective actions to mitigate deviations to the program plans and alerts management of potential problems when appropriate.
  • Report progress in writing and/or in presentations regularly to communicate status and as needed, escalate issues and recommended solutions.
  • Advise senior management on overall program matters as they affect risks, return, resources, and financial plans to assure that program requirements are met.
  • Ability to work autonomously and influence others.
  • Demonstrated successful team player.
  • Creative, thinks out of the box; thinks strategically, with a bias to execution.
  • Strong, clear, direct communication style with strong, persuasive presentation skills.
  • This is a remote position that will require travel up to 25-50% / up to 80% during execution phase.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • MBA, Master of Science, Finance/Industrial/Manufacturing/Operations or equivalent.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Minimum 10-15+ years of experience in transitions, operations, finance, business environment and a manager of people.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience with visual management systems.
  • Excellent Team Facilitation Skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and production.
  • Ability to assign priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Leadership ability in a team environment to bring projects to conclusion.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be willing and able to travel internationally.
  • Spanish, French, and other language fluency is desirable as this role will be regularly interacting with and executing projects with Legrand teams based in outside the United States.
