Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Communications Specialist to join the LNA Team remotely. Help fuel the businesses and functions for success and elevate the Legrand brand internally and externally by being responsible for the following:

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Social Media:
    • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
    • In collaboration with Brand & Creative, Content & Divisional Teams, develop engaging content (text, images, videos) that aligns with our Legrand brand and supports business priorities, including content for LNCA President & CEO, for social media. Provide content to Divisions for consideration.
    • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
    • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies.
    • Manage social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Public Relations:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to elevate brand awareness and reputation, including supporting CEO Communications with Corp Comm Director.
    • Begin to build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry professionals.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and other public-facing events.
    • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing reports and insights to senior management.
    • Prepare and update regularly crisis communication plans. Work with Corp Comm Director to manage responses to any PR issues.
    • Act as a spokesperson when necessary, ensuring accurate and timely communication during crises.
    • Manage content on corporate pages of Legrand.us.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and report on the success of PR and social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of social media activities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Collaborate with Brand & Creative and other Corp Comm team members on Connect employee video series and other cross department initiatives.
    • Basic video editing expertise is a plus.
    • Assist as needed with internal communications programs

Qualifications

Experience: 2-4 Years

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

 

Skills: Strong writing, interpersonal, presentation and editing skills. Comfortable managing outside agencies. Creative, collaborative and fun-loving mindset.
