Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a SAP M3 (Materials Master Management) Analyst to join the Legrand Team in Reno, NV. Under the direction of the Production Control Manager, the SAP M3 (Materials Master Management) Analyst will independently support the Operations Department in all aspects of the material lifecycle including setup, estimating, planning, and release. This position will interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure a high level of accuracy as parts are being entered into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from the Engineering Development system. The M3 Analyst will ensure that all assigned duties are performed quickly, efficiently, and according to the established departmental and company policies, procedures, and goals. The M3 Analyst will be responsible for ensuring all materials are set up in our ERP (SAP) system accurately. They will create and run complicated reports using SAP and Excel to evaluate the accuracy of all the material master settings as well as inventory and order reports to manage ECO changes. The M3 Analyst will work closely with Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Quality to communicate material change requirements. The M3 Analyst will be responsible for all the table updates related to material changes to the SAP VC (Variant Configuration). Will also coordinate our manufacturing Engineering department to facilitate all routing changes and/or additions. The M3 Analyst is expected to utilize system tools to ensure that the supply chain is effective in meeting the needs of our customers while maintaining required delivery and inventory goals. The M3 Analyst has a significant impact on customer service and production activity and therefore must be a creative thinker with sound decision-making ability that acts with the customer in mind. The M3 Analyst, as with all members of the Legrand Team, is expected to promote a positive work environment, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality.
What Will You Do?
Required Skills
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) supplemented by college-level business-related coursework; Associate degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
