Position Description

Legrand has an opportunity for a Customer Support Intern Summer 2025 in our Syracuse, NY office. This position will work with our internal and external customers, distributors, and field sales representatives with inquiries for products, product information, and product complaints or returns.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Assist distributors, Outside Sales Team and end user customers with product availability, delivery information, product information and resolving discrepancies through phone, fax and email communications
  • Assist with incoming orders while taking steps to apply proper pricing, stock availability and special instructions
  • Assist with customer requirements between manufacturing, traffic, shipping, field sales, carriers and other internal sales teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Assist leadership with projects identified to improve the overall customer experience

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must be working towards an undergraduate degree in a business-related field
  • Requires close attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications ability
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively
  • Prefer a candidate who can also work over college break periods through the year
