Legrand has an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join the WattStopper Team in Richardson, TX.


What Will You Do?
The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting intelligent and disciplined decision making across the organization. The right person for this role is a business partner with a passion for developing and communicating financial insights to operational leaders. This dynamic role offers significant variety, flexibility and learning opportunities, as well as exposure to key leaders in the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and can easily explain the stories behind the numbers.


MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Assist with developing revenue and expense budgets, monthly forecasts financial models and present analytics to support management team.
  • Perform forecast and budget variance analysis in conjunction with the entire Finance team.
  • Manage financial and operational ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare and review financial variances between Actual/Budget/Forecast financial results.
  • Provide support on the monthly close process, including review of variance analyses, key trends, and performance metrics.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and consolidation of corporate budget/forecast as needed by the business.
  • Continuously analyze revenue and expense drivers to incorporate trends into financial forecast.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.


EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an FP&A Analyst or equivalent role.


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  • Strong expertise in Excel-based financial modeling, including building, maintaining, and validating comprehensive budget models.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to gather inputs and ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Demonstrated success in cost management and budget control processes, with the ability to track budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, including board reporting and maintaining a KPI dashboard that provides insights into financial health.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial insights and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster a culture of financial accountability across non-finance departments.
  • PowerBI is preferred but not necessary
