Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an IT Intern to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Seeking a college/graduate student for a summer internship. The intern will assist in the IT business applications tasks including business processes analysis around critical business applications, especially the ERP and Office 365 Power Platform. The intern will learn about IT service management and ITIL framework, put that in practices, and participate in business requirements gathering, compilation, analysis and solutions design under the instructions of senior IT members and outside consultants.
What Will You Do?
Main Job Duties:
• Business requirements gathering and compilation, gap analysis and solutions design.
• Simulation of business processes execution in the proposed solutions.
• Software/application installation and upgrade
• IT service management analytics
Required Skills
Education:
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related discipline
• Prior work experiences in CRM, PLM, ERP or SCM desired.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Knowledge of MS Office applications/Office 365
• Interest and willingness to learn ITIL Foundation
• Strong analytical skills; experiences with experience with SQL, MS Visual Studio preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment
