Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Information Techonology to join the Legrand Lighting Manufacturing in Kenosha, WI. The Director, Information Technology, LLM is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all facets of IT for the LLM business. The LLM business currently consists of Kenall Lighting (located in Kenosha, WI) and Pinnacle Architectural Lighting (located in Denver, CO). This strategic IT role includes aligning overall IT strategy, organization, management, and execution to drive business performance and global growth. The role reports to the VP of IT, LBS (Lighting and Building Systems). The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving results in an enterprise environment requiring persuasion, agility, and strategic leadership.

 

What Will You Do?

 

• Leading and scaling an IT function that can support the continued global growth.
• Develop a technology roadmap for the business applications team and ensure organizational strategic alignment of that roadmap.
• Engage business leaders, providing consultation, gathering their requirements (project or support related) and translating them into functional technical specifications
• Review cross-functional business processes, identify gaps and propose remediation within existing application ecosystem
• Facilitate development of solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, technological options, and process facilitation techniques
• Advise on options, risks, resource requirements, and impact on other business processes and system priorities
• Leverage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs to drive innovation and create efficiencies
• Partner with the IT Infrastructure team to drive infrastructure and operations service excellence in a matrixed global environment
• Create a standard of excellence in IT services and technology by establishing, achieving, and improving departmental operational metrics, including customer satisfaction ratings
• Develop, manage, and track the LLM IT department budget and value realization for technology investments
• Use data to identify trends, drive decisions, and create a continuous improvement cycle
• Provide direction, guidance, and training for IT staff

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Strong experience in cross-functional process review/analysis and re-engineering
• Experience in software development lifecycles, software deployment, and implementation processes
• Solid technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
• Experience with ERPs in a configurable manufacturing environment
• Experience with Infor Syteline and/or Epicor, and PowerBI a plus

 

Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years in IT leadership in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated track record of successful delivery of enterprise IT solutions in a complex global environment
• Familiarity/experience in delivering enterprise technology solutions including ERP, CRM, MES, PLM, infrastructure and operations, cyber security, and advanced analytics
• Experience establishing and executing an enterprise technology roadmap to drive business outcomes, growth, and performance
• Experience with agile, SDLC and waterfall software development methodologies for enterprise platforms


Education
• Education: Bachelor of Science in information technology, computer science, or related field.

 

Special Job Requirements:
• This role is based in Kenosha, WI
• Must be willing to travel - anticipated travel 10-15% of the time
