Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 to join the Pass & Seymour Team in Middletown, PA.  Flexible work arrangements and this is a paid opportunity.

 

Main Job Duties

 

As an intern, you’ll participate in developing competencies in a variety of electrical engineering specializations that may include:

  • Build, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sub-assemblies and products, using, various digital and analog test equipment,
  • Coordinate prototype testing with test engineering, ensuring that both product and customer documentation is correct and up-to-date.
  • Test prototypes and products in the engineering test lab for safety, performance, and conformance to requirements
  • Research and determine requirements for electrical components and systems

Qualifications

Education:

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, or an Associate Degree program in Electronics Technology or similar disciplines, from an accredited institution
  • 3.0 GPA or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your profile)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team & have good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Provide own mode of transportation and housing
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Able to bend, lift up to 30 lbs. Able to use standard electronic lab tools/equipment, soldering station, hand tools, etc.
