Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a remote Strategic Account Manager to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Pass & Seymour Team.

 

The Strategic Account Manager represents Legrand EWS as the primary contact for our strategic accounts. This individual is responsible for driving sales growth and optimizing inventory positions across all levels of the assigned accounts. The role collaborates closely with EWS leadership to develop and execute Strategic Account Business Plans (SABPs), identifying mutual growth opportunities and leveraging key strategies across national, regional, and local levels.

 

This position requires strong relationship-building skills to foster executive-level connections with both the customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring Legrand is positioned as a critical partner in their long-term success.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Develops and implement the Annual Strategic Account Business Plan (SABP) for assigned account by collaborating with EWS Brand Leaders and understanding key drivers for Legrand and EWS. Implements said strategy by working with RVPs, FSF and the account.
  • Identifies new ways to satisfy customer, strengthen our position and grow revenue by understanding the Customer’s needs and long-term strategic growth initiatives (including Sales, Marketing, IT and Operations).
  • Creates and monitors sales performance metrics while facilitating timely intervention to ensure our mutual success (Performing recordkeeping, as well as preparing sales reports).
  • Drives others to meet goals by clearly communicating our vision and direction – both internally and to the Customer.
  • Develops regular in person meetings with Key contacts at Account to measure progress and make improvements to strategy, implementation, and execution where necessary.
  • Is the key point of contact for Legrand at the Account and in being so, establishes efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients and internal departments to include the Legrand Executive Management team ensuring the Account their strategic importance to Legrand and develop bi-directional Senior level relationships.
  • Be able to work with non-EWS Managers and Leaders when identifying additional Legrand opportunities at the Account.
  • Presents the Legrand Branding message clearly and ensures that is delivered throughout the Account (National, Regional and Local).
  • Handling client queries and finding innovative solutions for complex problems.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • BA/BS in Business or equivalent ED Account Management experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in ED Account Management, Sales or Marketing. MBA a plus.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Solid sales experience in B2B environment.
  • Possess the willingness and ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and position a cohesive message to the assigned account.
  • Hands on experience with SFDC CRM software and Account management systems.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills to multiple audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation skills – both creating content and delivering a message.
  • Ability to get things down through others while addressing customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Availability to travel as needed (50% travel).
