IT Sr. Scrum Master

Legrand North America is seeking a talented and motivated IT Sr. Scrum Master to join their growing development team and assist in the company-wide Product Data Quality initiative.

This role will report to the Director of Enterprise Data Management and will be serve as the techno/functional leader to interface between the business product data teams and the IT teams for product data quality improvements.  This will include collaborating to define the functional requirements, work with the IT teams to translate them into technical requirements and help prioritize the activities with the internal or external development team(s). The ideal candidate will be well versed in system data flows, data management applications and will have project management experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously using Scrum, Agile, or Kanban or waterfall
  • Build complex project/sprint plans with multiple workstreams to keep project delivery on-track.
  • Conduct daily standups. Run internal and external meetings with a variety of teams and varied experience levels and set clear expectations on the agenda.
  • Monitor team performance, driving continuous improvement and removing impediments that prevent the team from delivering the sprint goal/deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, burn rate, and Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Anticipate and manage risks and issues as they arise, take measures to correct when they occur, and escalate appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Determine process health metrics and key performance indicators and build data visualization reports illustrating program health
  • Partner with business stakeholders to collaborate on the product data quality strategy
  • Analyze and document data flows across the multiple business systems
  • Define and document requirements in to features/stories
  • Develop IT roadmap for improvement opportunities
  • Manage the overall program as well as the individual projects to deliver improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for project deliverables
  • Partnership and alignment with the business on technical requirements and sprint prioritization
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Support product data teams in the IT systems impact assessment when there is a data change requests.
  • Provide guidance to business teams as it pertains to data taxonomy updates and system configurations.
  • Support product data team in the creation of data quality and other informational reports that includes KPI reporting and monitoring.
  • Contribute to the process improvement analyses by evaluate and recommend reporting tools or extract data needed in the process evaluation
  • Support new product launch process, coordinate with Data Quality and other downstream application teams.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Data management systems and processes
  • Experience in managing a minimum of 2-3 MDM/DG programs
  • SAP Commerce (Hybris) experience is beneficial
  • Experience with managing projects in Agile methodology
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Project Plan. Proficient in either Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work between technical and business teams
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and is confident yet humble
  • Experience with 3rd party development partners

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or technical discipline
  • Master in Scrum via [Certified Scrum Product Owner) or (Certified Scrum Master)
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
