Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Manager to join the Data Center Power & Control Division, supporting ZPE. The Inside Sales (ISR) Manager will report to the Director of Inside Sales. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all inside sales activities in support of the Access and Control products and for providing leadership to achieve sales, profitability, and growth objectives. The Inside Sales Manager supports the inside sales team with scheduling, communication, employee relations, performance reviews, customer escalations, and continued education training. All team members are expected to promote a positive work environment, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality.

 

 

LOCATION: This is a REMOTE position

 

 

What Will You Do?

  • Provide leadership and clear direction to a team of inside sales professionals.
  • Coach and mentor team members to define and achieve individual goals.
  • Provide daily direction and communication to employees to ensure customer needs are met in a timely, efficient, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Assist in resolving escalated customer issues.
  • Provide support in CRM (Sales Force) and ERP functionality, administration, related applications, and upcoming releases.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to each team member.
  • Support data entry and end-of-month financial requirements.
  • Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures, including suggestions for methods to improve operations, efficiency, and service.
  • Establish and document work procedures and processes.
  • Write and administer performance reviews for skill improvement and goal attainment.
  • Support and motivate staff to participate in company-provided continued education classes and training, with the objective of completing individual goals and compliance with mandatory training.

COMPENSATION:  $90,000-$100,000  OTE

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University with an emphasis in Business or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience providing advanced support, sales, or inside sales experience in the information technology industry.
  • Data Center industry experience preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the company, including Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Position will require limited travel; the ideal candidate must be able to travel up to 6 times a year.
