Position Description

Legrand is seeking a collaborative and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our East Coast customers within the Data Center Power and Control Team. In this role, you will partner closely with Territory Sales Managers and customers to deliver thoughtful solutions, exceptional service, and a smooth sales experience.

 

**What You Will Do**

  • Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, solutions-focused support.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM and ensure seamless order processing.
  • Provide timely responses on order status, inventory, quotes, and shipments.
  • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to evaluate customer needs and identify appropriate product solutions.
  • Assist with account administration, contract terms, and reseller requests.
  •  Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product Support.
  • Meet with key customers periodically to maintain relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned performance goals.
  • Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and development opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns with empathy and resourcefulness.

**Education & Experience**

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of inside sales or sales support experience, ideally in IT or data center environments.

  • Strong communication skills across teams and customer groups.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Resourceful problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Base Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 plus monthly commission.
