Operations Business Analyst Intern

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Business Analyst Intern to join the Data Center Power & Control Division as part of the Starline Business Unit in Canonsburg, PA. Guided by our Global Operational Excellence Department, this role contributes to improving data quality, supporting informed decision-making, and enhancing the productivity and operational performance across Starline facilities.

What You Will Do

• Develop data models used in Power BI reports.
• Support data governance activities, including building data quality rules and aiding in data cleansing.
• Gain working knowledge of existing and required data structures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
• Help establish standards and best practices for data modeling.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SQL.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams such as Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Leadership.
• Ability to listen actively, extract key information, and communicate effectively through tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Pivot Tables.
• Power BI experience preferred.
