Position Description

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Intern to join the LNA Corporate Marketing Team in Minnetonka, MN. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in the creation of various marketing materials to follow brand standards and be presented in a variety of visual communication media.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Collaborate with other team members to design a variety of print and digital collateral including but not limited to brochures, flyers, technical sell sheets, email images, website assets, and social graphics.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and proposals.
  • Manipulate lifestyle and product photography.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of design elements.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a technical or design related degree program.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Strong interest in graphic design and branding, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of design tools and software - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Preferred knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
  • Understanding and applying color theory principles to create visually appealing designs.
  • General understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong design, communication, and organizational skills.
