Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a HR Intern to join the Power Bus Way Team in Misissauga, ON.
Position Overview: The HR Intern will provide support to the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS data entry. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources to gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
· Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation.
· Maintain employee records.
· Assist with employee relations activities, such as employee surveys and events.
· Prepare HR-related reports and presentations.
· Provide administrative support to the HR team.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Current or recent enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Strong interest in Human Resources.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Detail-oriented and organized.
· Ability to analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions.
· Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and communicate effectively.
